New Sony Xperia Tablet (Z3?) might be coming soon
Sony’s Xperia Z2 Tablet (pictured on the left) is still a relatively new device, being available to buy since March. But this doesn’t mean that Sony can’t announce another tablet in the near future, right?

Today, a previously unseen Sony tablet that carries the model number SGP621 was approved by Indonesian authorities, and Xperia Blog argues that this is an LTE-capable slate. That’s because its model number follows a pattern established by the LTE variants of the Xperia Tablet Z (SGP321) and Xperia Z2 Tablet (SGP521). Could this SGP621 be an Xperia Z3 Tablet? We can’t know for now, but that’s certainly a possibility.

Sony will host a press event on September 3 at IFA 2014, where the company is likely going to announce its rumored Xperia Z3 smartphone - so we may also see the new SGP621 then. If the SGP621 turns out to be the Z3 Tablet, we’re expecting to see a very thin slate with a 10.1-inch display and water-resistant body.

Are you looking forward to seeing what Sony has in store for us? Let us know in the comments!

One thing is for sure Sony is going all out to their mobile and tablet products . People will always think 6 months is short for a release date but look at other OEM not to mentioned Samsung they release different variants of S5. Even Lg has different variants of G3. Just like Apple it's either you buy their products or not either way they're not putting a gun on your head to buy it forcibly.

could be a new successor to non mobile functioning version of z ultra ( sgp412), thus, probably 6.3" to 8"

If this and the Z3 get announced in September I'm done with their mobile products. I own my Z2 for literally 3 months and a new flagship will already be announced? The actual FK

Exactly, so why bother if they release a new device? you should be glad with the Z2 Tablet if it meet your needs...

Sony never had reasonable prices so even if the hardware is nice, it doesn't have much relevance.

In almost all countries the prices are the same than any of the competition.

I sure hope Sony could match Xiaomi's price tag.

not a chance, sony are making premium hardware/appliances, expensive, but not apple-like expensive. so yeah, their pricing are acceptable. xiaomi tho, they have monstrous specs, and their design does look premium, but still it can't be compared to sony's lg's apple's, samsung tho, can be. :p

For now the z2 tablet is enough for me. Wouldn't know why to upgrade. The screen is really good. Speakers are also very good. Didn't experience any lag and im even using longer usage? Maybe its called different in the English version. 2k is useless unless we get a big boost in memory

they really should trim down the bezels, atleast on sides, it destroys the whole design, looks generic, because there are alot of cheap generic tablets that have humongous bezels... yes it looks elegant when the display is turned off, but when the screen is on, the thick bezels pops out and it is ugly as hell..
