Motorola prepares a new touchscreen phone?
For some time now, Motorola has found it painfully difficult to manufacture a really competitive device. Unexpectedly, an image of an unknown origin has appeared, depicting what it seems to be a future Motorola touchscreen phone. We can easily make out a large touchscreen, a 5-megapixel Kodak camera with a Xenon flash and TV-out. Actually, the back of the phone very much resembles the one of the MOTOZINE ZN5. Apart from the picture, nothing else has been heard of the mysterious handset and we can only guess what operating system it would run. Still, according to Engadget, Android and Windows Mobile 6.5 are more unlikely, due to the lack of Home and Back keys, along with a missing Start button, which is mandatory for WM 6.5.

No matter the platform it is going to utilize, we hope to hear more of this promising Motorola device soon enough.

I've been doing some digging on this since engadget posted it. I haven't quite decided what to make of it. The pictures seemed to originated from a YouTube video here: In the video its referred to has the Motorola TouchZine HD. Problem is there are obvious errors there. For Example Motorola 'Eletronics'. Its also fairly obvious the guy posting them is a Moto fan, the other videos are current commercials with descriptions like OMG "I love Motorola". When you google the guy you find a couple of moto renders that he has done (that I couldn't get to load) and a bunch of moto discussion board posts. None of the posts make him sound like an employee, just a fan. This image appears to originate from here: Where a poster says they took the shots from the video and photoshopped them together. I was a bit confused over there because I didn't know what "trusted member" meant and there were a few "trusted members" saying it was real but now I think that is just based on post count or something and not any inside information. Other posters there point out that a russian blog with a solid track record on Moto rumors could of mentioned something like this device but its not known. I was excited for it but I'm for now I'm going to go with fan rendering that got passed off as a real deal.
