Motorola Moto G2 to be launched on September 10?
Motorola’s Moto G is currently one of the best smartphones that you can buy for less than $200. As we told you not long ago, a successor to it might be officially unveiled pretty soon.

According to GSM Arena, the next-gen Moto G - possibly called Moto G2, or Moto G+1 - should be available to buy on September 10. Reportedly, some retailers may receive the new handset as soon as late August, but it’s not clear if they will be allowed to sell it before September 10. It’s said that the Moto G2 should cost around €250 in Europe - which means that it might be sold for around $250 in the US.

The Moto G2 allegedly sports a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, thus being larger than the original Moto G (which offers a 4.5-inch screen). Other rumored features include an 8 MP rear camera, a 2 MP camera on the front, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal memory (though we assume that a 16 GB variant will also exist).

Another new smartphone that Motorola is expected to release in the near future is the successor to the Moto X, allegedly called Moto X+1. Motorola might be planning to announce the two new handsets at the same time - although that’s pure speculation. Whatever happens, we’ll be here to let you know.
