Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Limited Edition listed on eBay, Buy It Now price stands at $2,250

Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Limited Edition listed on eBay, Buy It Now price stands at $2,250
Pssst, want to own one of those limited edition Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX smartphones? You know, the ones that only Verizon employees will have the privilege to purchase starting next month. Well, now you can, as long as you have enough disposable cash on your hands.

There is a limited edition Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX currently up for bids on eBay, and the current bid stands at $750, although the reserve is not yet met. However, if you prefer buying it right away, $2,250 is what you will have to part with.

If you wonder what makes this smartphone different from an ordinary Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, it has a fancy red and black pattern on its back cover. The back is also where a unique number will be engraved on each limited edition unit. Besides, the phrase “Limited Edition” will be engraved under the smartphone's display. Last but not least, a free dock comes included in the set.

Still, these perks do not seem to be enough to justify the four-digit price tag, but then again, we are sure that there are people out there more than willing to own one of these just because they are rare. If you want to have one too, perhaps waiting until a cheaper DROID RAZR MAXX shows up would be a good idea.

I hope the person selling that limited edition RAZR knows that phone can only be activated on an EMPLOYEE ACCOUNT!!! As it was very clearly stated on the intranet announcement.

It appears to have sold to a new eBay user-name with 0 feedback for the $2250 buy-it-now price. Now I wonder if the person will actually pay that.
