Meizu MX4 Pro delayed until November
Earlier this week, we told you that Meizu’s upcoming high-end smartphone, the MX4 Pro, would be launched on October 28. However, it turns out that the company is not yet ready to unveil the new handset.

According to one of Meizu’s execs, the release of the MX4 Pro has been postponed to November. While the reasons for this haven’t been unveiled, the exec confirmed that the new handset has a fingerprint scanner that’s on par with other sensors on the market. According to previous rumors, the MX4 Pro will sport a 5.4-inch display with 1536 x 2560 pixels, further featuring a 20 MP rear camera, 13 MP front-facing camera (yep, just like HTC’s Desire EYE), an octa-core Exynos 5430 processor, and 3 GB of RAM. As the image above suggests, the handset may run Ubuntu Touch.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Meizu MX4 when we reviewed it, so we’re curious to see what the MX4 Pro can offer. Like the MX4, the new smartphone will likely be in stores only in China, though customers in other markets should be able to order it online.
