Leaked memo puts Motorola Moto X release on August 26th for U.S. Cellular
This isn't the first time we've seen a leaked document pointing to a release date for the Motorola Moto X. We've seen a document that puts the Verizon release date for the device on August 23rd, and a video giving the nebulous "August" release window for Rogers in Canada. Now, we're seeing a memo saying the Moto X will start hitting U.S. Cellular on August 26th.
According to the memo, the Motorola Moto X launch kit will arrive in U.S. Cellular stores on August 25th, and that same day will start a promotion on Motorola accessories. Then, August 26th will start the launch of the device. The memo refers to the launch of the Moto X as happening in "Waves" (1, 2, & 3). It is unclear, but apparently this means that U.S. Cellular stores in LTE regions will get the device first, and the Moto X will rollout to other regions after that.
