LG G4c (a mini G4) now available to buy in Europe

At the moment, the LG G4c is immediately available only in the Netherlands, where it costs €248 (around $275). Customers in the UK can also order the smartphone thanks to retailers like Handtec and Carphone Warehouse, which ask similar prices, saying they can ship the device starting early next week.
The G4c looks a lot like the high-end LG G4 (the plastic variant, not the leather one), but it's smaller and doesn't offer too many advanced features. For example, the G4c comes with a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, only 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of expandable internal memory. The new smartphone also features an 8 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera, and a 2540 mAh battery. Android Lollipop is pre-installed out of the box.
While the slogan of the G4 flagship is "see the great, feel the great", the slogan of the G4c is "see the great, feel the compact." Makes sense, right?
We don't know if LG intends to sell the G4c in North America, but we'll let you know when we find out.

1GB for Android is a joke.

Yeah, putting QHD on the G4 was dumb, especially with the SD808 they should've stuck with FHD. Not even putting FHD on any phone at 5" in 2015 is just stupid though. If this had been a FHD version of the G4 with all the other specs kept similar it would've made for a much more compelling device than the current G4. Good luck to LG with this thing.

This biggest joke is that they have released a G2 Mini, G3 mini and G4 mini and they all use S400/S420. No power upgrade in 3 years but then again the G2/G3/G4 all have similar onscreen GPU perf so I guess it works.

LG is such a s**tty brand. They've lots of so called mid-rangers priced higher than their Samsung counterparts and offering a year long value for money specs. When will they start possessing the intellect to understand that 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage is the minimum deal now. What use having tens of phones with identical specs of 1GB RAM, 8GB storage with different naming schemes? At least the 'compacts' named after their flagships should come in 2GB/16 GB variants. Such a waste!

Mini phones f**king suck. When are companies beside Sony going to get it, we don't want minis we want compacts that have close to the same specs as flagships. a g4 compact with snapdragom 801/805 at 4.7in with at 720/1080 would actually be a good phone unlike this crap g4 mini.
