Kyocera Brigadier expected to feature a sapphire display

Kyocera Brigadier expected to feature a sapphire display
Kyocera Brigadier is an unannounced Android smartphone that was seen back in April, allegedly on its way to Verizon Wireless. While Verizon has yet to confirm the device’s upcoming release, we now have more details about it.

According to Pocket Now, the Brigadier will sport a 4.5-inch sapphire display with 720 x 1,280 pixels. Earlier this month, Kyocera announced that it would soon introduce a Sapphire Shield display, and that’s probably what the Brigadier will feature.

The Kyocera Brigadier isn’t a smartphone for everyone, instead being a rugged device - like many other handsets made by Kyocera. It’s dust- and water-resistant (IP68), reportedly also featuring an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, quad-core 1.4GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable internal memory.

Apple’s iPhone 6 is also expected to have a sapphire display, though this one will probably not be made by Kyocera. It remains to be seen if Kyocera manages to launch the Brigadier before the new iPhone. You can see the unannounced Kyocera handset in the slideshow below, alongside a promo video for the Sapphire Shield display.

This phone is horrible but I can already see apple haters making a story saying "apple wasn't the first company to make a phone with a sapphire display" and "apple copied kyocera/android" I love android but as a neutral party I can see that apple haters are one of the biggest trolls on the internet. I use android because I can actually type in it and gesture typing makes it much easier. I love apple because of their wide variety of apps . Google is fixing their problem and apple is too. Now my only problem left is design, software updates and camera. The company which had this will make me buy their product. (Maybe lg g3)

Everyone talks about how ugly this phone is. Its basically a smart phone with a built in case. Most people put cases on anyway and makes their sleek phones bulky and ugly. This phone actually looks a lot nicer in person but obviously its not for everyone. I like the fact that I don't have to take off and put an otter box like case to make sure no dust or debris are behind the screen protector. Very nice phone for hard working folks like me.
