IDC: Verizon is the business user's best friend
Verizon is the business user's best friend according to a report by IDC called "MarketScape: Mobile Enterprise Services 2010 Vendor Analysis." It claims that Big Red has won the hearts and the souls of its enterprise customers due to its "broad range of enterprise and SMB solutions, renewed focus on customer service and strong network reliability."
The study focused on the US carriers' current capabilities and strategies in attracting and retaining customers, and also how they are trying to increase their market share. Mike Lanman, president of enterprise and government for Verizon Wireless, says:
"Today's business culture demands that our customers have secure access to their work 24 hours a day. Verizon offers fixed/wireless solutions for business continuity, a global managed mobility portfolio, and host of enterprise applications and connected devices such as modems, smartphones and tablets that run on the nation's largest 3G network and our industry-leading 4G network."
