Here are the rumored Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ RAM and storage variants

There will be plenty of rumors concerning Samsung's upcoming flagships, the Galaxy S9 and S9+, running around in the next couple of weeks. Some may prove to be accurate in the end, while others will be totally off. Since everyone claims they have received the information from trustworthy sources, it's hard to tell which to take with a grain of salt.

The same goes for the following report coming from China, which claims to have all the information regarding some of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ variants Samsung plans to unveil next month at Mobile World Congress (MWC).

Apparently, Samsung will keep the Galaxy S9's memory hardware on a standard level and give the customers who can afford the option to purchase the S9+ variant if they want something “out of the ordinary.”

The rumor claims Samsung Galaxy S9 will be available in two variants: 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 4GB RAM/128GB storage. However, the Galaxy S9+ will offer better memory options: 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage, and 6GB RAM/256GB storage.

No prices are attached to these variants, but the insider also revealed that Samsung has taken into account the market demand and, for the time being, decided not to launch a Galaxy S9+ with 512GB storage on board. Still, if that were to happen, it will only be available in select markets.
