Here are the rumored Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ RAM and storage variants

There will be plenty of rumors concerning Samsung's upcoming flagships, the Galaxy S9 and S9+, running around in the next couple of weeks. Some may prove to be accurate in the end, while others will be totally off. Since everyone claims they have received the information from trustworthy sources, it's hard to tell which to take with a grain of salt.

The same goes for the following report coming from China, which claims to have all the information regarding some of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ variants Samsung plans to unveil next month at Mobile World Congress (MWC).

Apparently, Samsung will keep the Galaxy S9's memory hardware on a standard level and give the customers who can afford the option to purchase the S9+ variant if they want something “out of the ordinary.”

The rumor claims Samsung Galaxy S9 will be available in two variants: 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 4GB RAM/128GB storage. However, the Galaxy S9+ will offer better memory options: 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage, and 6GB RAM/256GB storage.

No prices are attached to these variants, but the insider also revealed that Samsung has taken into account the market demand and, for the time being, decided not to launch a Galaxy S9+ with 512GB storage on board. Still, if that were to happen, it will only be available in select markets.

Obviously this is the best design ever in a smartphone history. Can't wait for this beast to be born. Best spec + top quality = Samsung.

I prefer smaller phones, but bulls**t like this forces people like me to buy the bigger versions. I don't give 2 s**ts for dual camera/portrait mode, but bigger battery and more RAM help a lot. Come on Samsung, I just hope the price gap between the 2 is less than $150.

You're unhappy that a bigger phone has more room for a bigger battery? I think that' more down to physics than Samsung.... :D

The bigger battery is fine, more RAM however is not. More RAM doesn't take more space.

Facecrook wasn't preinstalled on my 256GB Exynos Note 8, that's probably your carrier's bloatware...

I hope they will solve lag problems, battery problems, screen problems, etc. On the other hand, noting new: same design, same user interface etc. Sambomb needs to wait one more year for something new.

You don't hope that liar. You'd actually love for those things to really exist (which they dont), then your trolling would have merit. iHanky?

S9 plus 6 gig of ram next iPhone X plus 4 gig of ram or maybe 6 gig of ram then one plus 6 64 GB comes with 8GB of ram and 128GB comes with 10GB of ram lol.

The iPhone X is really enticing because of its size and not missing out on any features and this is where the S9 may be a bit of a disappointment for me. I really wanted the dual cameras in the smaller S9 and why not include the extra RAM as well. That's the same annoyance I have with the smaller iPhone models. It's like the only benefit is the smaller size. I may just hold out for the Pixel 3 assuming besides battery, it will be identical to its bigger sibling.

They ALL need at least 6GB of RAM.

Except note line needs at least 8 gig of ram and more storage at least 128GB due to Spen software.
