HTC One M9 officially launches on March 16, 64 GB variant (including its price) now confirmed
HTC today announced that the One M9 - it's newest flagship smartphone - will be first available in its home country, Taiwan. The handset will be released there early next week, on March 16, and should reach other markets shortly after that.

HTC confirmed that there are two One M9 variants: one with 32 GB, and one with 64 GB of internal memory. In Taiwan, the M9 32 GB will cost 21,900 TWD (around $693), while the 64 GB model will be sold for 23,900 TWD (about $756). As you can see, the price difference between the two variants is of only $63.

Unfortunately, it's not clear if both the 32 GB and 64 GB versions of the One M9 will be available globally. In any case, both have microSD card support, so storage space shouldn't be a problem.

Running Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI, the One M9 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, and features a 5-inch 1080p display, 20 MP rear camera, 3 GB of RAM, and a 2840 mAh battery. You'll find out more about the handset by checking out our HTC One M9 hands on.

consider people making minimum of 22k there and thats a month salary for some just to support their own (made in taiwan ). no wonder HTC not even that popular in their country, people rather spend the same amount on other brands

Wow... Releasing earlier than Samsung, it makes sense... I was debating myself about the M9 or S6... Unfortunately, the M9's camera is getting a bad vibe, with the Toshiba Sensor... Getting the S6, since my favorite feature is camera... :-)

I was going for s6 to replace my s5 but without sd card I'll go for M9 when the LG G4 cones out . I will choose one of those 2.

7. engineer-1701d unregistered

kate what do you use sd card for in s5 i have a 64gb in my gs3 and i have not taken it out in a year since i switched back from root.

Good luck with that choice. You definitely are going LG even knowing that there may be overheating issues with the Snapdragon 810. If it's true, your G4 will be throttling so much you won't even notice the piss poor speeds on your sd card. Hey, it might even be faster! LG can even run ads about how much faster it's SD card is than internal memory.

Looks like the black bands above and bellow the screen are shrinked in these renders vs your hands on real life pics

I want it. But I'm having a hard time selling my m8 at a high price that will allow me to upgrade to an m9.

We hope they fixed the camera. HTC has been really quiet on camera performance after Barcelona. If they get it right though, it's a winner.

Coming off of an M7, i can't imagine myself looking at,basically the same phone exterior for 2 more years. All HTC had to do to get my money was offer something fresh! I can't believe HTC pulled Samsung's S5 mistake ! Too bad.....
