HTC EVO 4G is currently out of stock on Sprint's web site
Up until today, those who were interested in purchasing the HTC EVO 4G and beat out those crowded stores could've easily bypassed all of that and opted to check out Sprint's web site. Although you had to wait some time before holding the actual device in your hand, customers easily had the convenience of buying the smartphone over the internet without setting foot outside. However, the popularity of the handset has proven itself as the smartphone is currently unavailable for purchase online – which can obviously justify Sprint's stance on it being the best handset launch in their history. Now the only other places left are of course the handful of online retailers still offering the handset and the busy stores across the country where you may bump into other people looking for the prized handset.

Unfortunately many companies are having trouble keeping up with demand on some of their devices. It's just the nature of this bad economy right now. Manufacturing companies laying off so many workers and then when something comes along that is in high demand there is trouble keeping up. I think most new phones right now will see this. Also Dell is having trouble stocking RGBLED screens as well. It's all because of certain components not being available.

Congrtats to htc and sprint. I left rape t&t and my iphone 3GS and much higher bills for sprint, the evo, google and lower bills. Smartest move I could have made. This phone is awesome, the speeds are very exceptable and I havent dropped a single call yet. Very pleased with sprint so far in the greater dc area and with 4G coming soon, its only looking up.
