HTC Desire to follow the Motorola Droid for Verizon

Earlier this month when Verizon and Google had their PR event, the Google CEO was seen holding a HTC device with the Verizon logo. It was thought to be the HTC Hero, but will in fact be the HTC Desire. The device will launch sometime after the big Motorola Droid event on the 28th, but no one seems to know for certain if the Desire will make it out before the end of '09. BGR now has a new picture of the HTC Desire with it running the Sense UI. We've slightly adjusted the brightness of image so you can make out more of the phone, including the 3 buttons on the bottom.
