Google offering amazing discounts on items in its store – Nexus phones and tablets, smartwatches, cases, and more

Yes, folks, it's Black Friday and the holiday sales are officially kicking off. Google joined the many other retailers and dropped the prices of various items that it sells in its online shop. You can now get $50 off of some Chromebook models, as well as some juicy discounts on a Nexus smartphone and tablet, Chromecast, and LG G Watch Urbane. Here's the full scoop:

  • Nexus 5X at $80 off – you can get the 16 GB model for $299
  • Nexus 9 at $200 off – you can grab the 16 GB Wi-Fi model for $199!
  • Nexus cases at 50% off
  • Two Chromecast units for $50. You can combine a Chromecast v2.0 with Chromecast Audio if you wish (normally $35 each).
  • LG Watch Urbane at $70 off – now $279

It's worth noting that B&H also offers $80 off with a Nexus 5X purchase, but also throws in a $25 gift card to boot – probably still the better deal. Google, however, offers extended returns (purchases made before the 25th of December will be eligible for return until the 22nd of January) on items bought from its store - you know, in case you picked / were given the wrong gift.

The Chromecasts would make great gifts at $25/each when purchased in 2's.

I assume these prices are US only? Not seeing any reduction here in Canada.

The Huawei watch and LG Urbane are on sale, and the Nexus 9 is now sold out in Canada.

trust but the memory is too small unfortunately. 16 GB without micro expansion is so very little.
