Google Now reminds you to pay your bills

Google Now reminds you to pay your bills
Google Now gives you so much information that you need before you even ask for it, that having the virtual assistant remind you to pay your bills just makes a lot of sense. If your Google Now account is connected to a Gmail account that receives messages about your accounts, once those messages come in, Google Now will prompt you to set up the reminders.

If you want to get the reminders, all you need is to do is click on "yes," and Google Now will forward you information on certain bills. The cards will show the name of the company you owe, the amount of the bill and the due date. Tap on the card and you are taken straight to the email in your Gmail account.

It is another example of what Google has in mind with Google Now, trying to keep the service proactive to differentiate it from Siri and Cortana.

You can give it as little or as much as you like - stop trolling

Using Google is what gives it that information. It's kinda hard not to when you have a monopoly on search. Don't be ignorant.

Wrong again - I can choose to change my search engine on my device. On your iphone, you do not have to use Google (NOW). On my Android, I can simply uninstall it, or change the default search engine. As usual, Mxy, you are just a troll...

It's pulling the info fro m your gmail account, which is obviously info Google already has! Sorry Apple has yet to bring any useful functionality to Siri. If you don't have a gmail account then this feature doesn't work.

ok GOOGLE - I out two bills on this deal... If you do not have any bills coming to the specified G Mail account, you can still just tell Google to set reminders for each month on the same day to pay a specific bill. Seems like Google Now can do just about anything. Pretty soon it will drive my car and make me dinner - lmao

This'll be a handy feature for myself. Couldn't care less if them or anyone else knows how much my utilities are each month. Bring it.

Technically, Google would not know if you just set a reminder to pay a bill and give it no other information on that bill, other than date to remind you, interval of reminder (weekly, monthly, etc.), and the name of the reminder.

This shows how Google Now is always being worked on and improved, while Siri has pretty much stayed the same since she was first implemented...
