Gold casing and other parts leak for the Apple iPhone 5S
On Thursday night, we passed along some more speculation about the next Apple iPhone that came from well-connected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI. Recently, we told you that Kuo expects the next iPhone to include a fingerprint scanner in the home button. Yesterday, Kuo mentioned that we could see an Apple iPhone 5S loaded with 128GB of native storage. Kuo also expects Apple to add a gold color option to the traditional black and white that the iPhone has been offered in.

Earlier this month, we showed you pictures of the volume control buttons and the silent/vibrate toggle switch in what was called a champagne color although it could actually be seen as being gold in color. Now, a French technology site has leaked new pictures of what are allegedly parts of the Apple iPhone 5S done up in gold.

The slideshow below shows off the casing and you might notice the absence of the Apple logo on what would be the back of the unit. The source of the photos explains that the logo was blurred voluntarily which right away raises our suspicions about the legitimacy of the parts. That doesn't mean that there won't be a gold colored Apple iPhone 5S on the way, it just means that you should cast a wary eye on some of the pictures below.
