Get six months of Google Play Music for free with the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S6
A free ad-supported tier of streaming tunes is now available from Google Play Music. That is, as long as you don't live in Canada. Those ad-supported stations won't be available right away to Android users who live north of the border. But there is a workaround available. For a limited time only, those purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S6 will receive six-free months of Google Play Music. Buyers of other Samsung phones will receive three free months of the service.

That means that Canadians who buy the Galaxy S6 will be able to listen for free to songs coming from the entire 30 million song Google Play Music library. And as many as 50,000 songs can be moved to Google Play Music from a user's personal library. With the purchase of a Galaxy S6, half a year of Google Play Music is on the house.

Eventually, the free tier will be offered in Canada. For now, if you live in the country and want to get Google Play Music without paying for it, you will have to buy a new Samsung handset first. So what are you waiting for?

Love it...! Bring on the heat Google/Samsung - when Apple sweats, it becomes more lenient...

So Samsung had: 1. Buy a Galaxy S6/edge and get a Samsung tablet free. 2. 64gb storage for 32gb price. 3. All the ads dissing iphone's. 4. BET awards promoted the S6 all night last night. 5. Now this. How many phones have y'all sold again?

Samsung always gives free gifts away and I think you find this is just a redirect for Apple music and as nothing to do with how many phones they are selling Also number 2 as nothing to do with Samsung as is just the tm trying to get th s6 sales over other networks and so goes for 1, please get real

Most likely more flagships than all the other major Android OEM's combined this year. By a lot. But nobody actually knows because Samsung has never released that number. All they've said is that they expect to sell 70 million S6's for this year, they haven't changed their projections, and that claim they are meeting their targets. That's literally all they said. We also know that they overtook Apple again as the largest phone manufacturer by volume in the beginning of this year before the s6 even went on sale. Aside from that, we know that LG isn't doing nearly as well with the g4 as they would like, HTC has bombed with the m9, and it's extremely unlikely Sony is going to do well with the Z4v or Z3+. That pretty much leaves Samsung standing alone, but we can't necessarily read into that. The fate of the other manufacturers current flagships doesn't automatically mean that all those potential customers are flocking to Samsung. We don't even know how many people are choosing to upgrade or buy a new phone this year, as opposed to holding on to what they already have. For all we know, that could be the reason for everyone's sales being terrible so far. They could either see new products as not being compelling enough, or their current Phones already meet their needs. Apple has barely seen its sales dip for the iP6 since it was released. But, we're not certain how many of those people are Android converts, how many are buying a phone for the first time, and how many are just Apple loyalists buying the newest phone. In short, nobody knows and I don't understand why anyone gives a damn anyway. As long as any given company remains financially viable and can develop new products, that is pretty much the beginning and end of cost or benefit for the average person.

Damn.... Very slow sales on S6/Edge.

Considering Samsung has literally not said one thing about the sales of the S6/Edge... I'm really curious as to where you're pulling that assumption from.

From his deluded troll brain, Terry. Where else?
