Gear.Club launched on Android after achieving 1 million downloads in 5 days in the App Store

Gear.Club is one of the most recent successes developed by Eden Games. The racing game was launched on iOS platform early this month and managed to reach 1 million downloads in just five days.

Fast forward three weeks and Gear.Club has raced its way into Google Play. The game is now available for free to all Android users who want to try it out.

According to French studio Eden Games, Gear.Club is now the number 1 overall downloaded app in 77 countries on iOS, the number 1 free game in 85 countries and the number 1 racing game in 142 countries on the same platform.

Gear.Club is not a classic racing car game, it's an authentic world of cars. The developers promise a realistic driving experience, which includes fully simulated engines, powertrains, suspensions and aerodynamics.

The game comes with a wide range of options for cars, and allows players to collect, upgrade and customize some of the most exotic vehicles in their performance shop.

The folks over at Eden Games warn Android users that Gear.Club's file-size is quite large, so make sure that your Internet connection is stable when installing the game.

It's also worth noting that while the game is free to download and play, it comes with in-app purchases that will allow players to buy game items for real money. Obviously, the feature can be disabled from the settings menu.

Wow, it's a big app. The game takes up almost 1 GB of storage.

There not bad. It's a Unity game. I just wish they would have made this game support VR as well.

If it's just 1GB big, it's not really big. Would seem big to those who haven't downloaded games of larger size. A couple of years ago, I downloaded Gangster Vegas, which, if memory serves me right, is in the upwards of 2GB.

This game is terrible, graphics are awful and cars feel like paperweights. It makes my 6s feel like a furnace, it gets so hot that I can't even touch the screen. Avoid this game if you're on iOS.

It runs fine on my LG G5 which has a SD 820 and 4 gb of ram. This is a Unity game. The iPhone 6s with its GPU clocked at 450 MHz is rated at 172.8 gigaflops, whereas the SD 820 with its GPU clocked at 510-624 MHz is rated at 408-490 gigaflops.

That's how we know we can't compare GFLOP scores across different architectures since the 530 isn't much more powerful than the GT7600

It runs fine on my 6s... no heating and in the beginning I played 2 days straight... I do agree - the feel of this game (car handling and controls feel) is not as good as RR3... I have it installed but rarely play it now...
