First WP Mango-powered smartphone to launch in August; is the update getting closer to launch?
If you are  among the hoards of Windows Phone users patiently waiting for the platform's Mango update to be released, you would probably be happy to hear that its launch date might actually be closer than you assume. How do we know? Well, Japanese media giant Nikkei just reported that the first smartphone to run Windows Phone Mango out of the box will be hitting the market by the end of August meaning that the software should be in its final form by that time.

That, of course, does not necessarily guarantee that Mango will start rolling out across the US as soon as next month, but it sure raises that possibility a bit. Judging by the other clues that we have so far, the next version of Microsoft's mobile platform will most probably be already available by the end of September.

In case you are wondering which is the smartphone presumed to be treated to Windows Phone Mango before any other device, it will be the candy-colored Fujitsu handset that we took a glimpse at not long ago. The smartphone is expected to hit the Japanese market by the end of next month and will be available through KDDI, one of the nation's major carriers.
