"Exclusive" rose pink Galaxy S8 will soon make its way to Europe

Rose pink Samsung Galaxy S8 units will soon hit the shelves in Europe. Dutch retailer Belsimpel has the phone available for pre-order on its website.

This particular color variation of the 2017 Samsung flagship was initially distributed solely in Taiwan, where nearly 30% of the handsets sold are tinted in some sort of rose hue. It was assumed that rose pink would remain exclusive to Taiwan and South Korea, but it looks like this won't be the case. Last month, Samsung confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with this color option in Mexico as well.

Belsimpel has confirmed that the units it will sell are intended for the European market and aren't Asian versions that are just imported. It is assumed that the rose pink S8 will be available in other European nations as well. The Dutch retailer will sell these for €599, which roughly translates to about $720.

Currently, there is no information on when the pink handset will become commercially available, but we assume that it won't take too long.

The fact that Deep Blue is an exclusive on the Note is mind boggling.

The Note 8 is not the best at anything other than being an oversized S8.

I have right now an S8+ and a Note 8. Though very similar, like most phones from the same OEM would be; they are certainly not the same. The Note is better than the S8, but quite a bit. Try using both and you will see.

Maybe cuz the S8 is already the best phone out there and the Note 8 improves on it :)

the note8 is the s8 plus + dual camera + s pen. Meanwhile, iPad is an oversized iPod touch

I am curious as to why the manufacturers can't have all color variation available to all markets at release. I think it is bad for consumers, who want the devices quickly in a new color option, but don't want to wait for the new colors. Like, if you are on a lease plan and want to be able to switch every 12 months, you can't because the new color you want wont be avail until month 13 or 14.

Pink? Such color is for women, as I can't imagine myself buying on this color.

I'm a guy and pink is one of my favorite colors. I would love to buy a pink rose Galaxy S8+

I'm with you. If this color was available for the Note 8, I would definitely buy it over the current available selection.

US? My girlfriend would love this color. Idk why they do confusing dumb s**t like only put certain colors in certain places like cmon just make every color available for everyone like.... I don't wanna say it but.... iPhones do.. (I'm not an iSheep spam commenter, I'm actually an S8 user just very annoyed by this)

This has become a habit for samsung. You should've known it. I'm refraining from buying the note8 since i know samsung will release the pink variant somewhere in the future.
