"Everything changes with iPad" says Apple's new ad for the tablet

With Apple expected to sell fewer iPads this year, it is time for the tech titan to whip out the checkbook and spend more money on promoting the tablet. A new 60-second ad features Swedish recording artist Elliphant as she uses the device in all facets of her work. The commercial, titled Make Music with iPad, shows the 30-year old singer using her iOS flavored tablet to write lyrics to a song. She eventually is seen using the iPad in the studio to remember the words as she records the number.

We also see Elliphant and her band using the iPad as a percussion instrument and as a keyboard both in the studio and at a live show. And the tag line at the end of the spot is "Everything Changes with iPad."

The name of the song playing during the spot, for those interested, is "All or Nothing" by Elliphant. Never a company to miss an opening for cross-promotion, Apple has the song available now from iTunes. The ad you can watch right here, right now, by clicking on the video below.

My 100$ windows tablet can do more than an iPad + galaxy tab combined.

Enjoy your tablet, but that post won't change anyone's mind about what they buy.

I'm still using my mini 2, and won't be upgrading unless there's major change internally/externally. My 6 plus could never take the place of it either.

I actually prefer the mini series, but we'll see come October. That would be the earliest I upgrade, was leaning more towards 2016 though.

i got my mini 2 last year and I'm also very pleased. I ended giving my iPad(the one before the air) to my mother. but its very understanding why their sales are going down.

me too, i love the mini size, hope the mini 4 this year will be slimmer, lighter, and the most important thing is 2GB RAM

as for the mini i'm not impressed at all i'd rather go for the htc nexus 9 or last year nexus 7 if i wanted a smaller tablet. i upgraded from last year nexus 7 to the new ipad air 2

I didn't really like it. I feel like ever since Apple started doing their own commercials in-house they've been pretty horrible.

Oh goodness me! The iPad still records sounds in MONO! Most people don't know this and the front facing camera is only 1.2 MP for crying out loud! There is nothing so significantly revolutionary about the iPad since it launched years ago! You still can't transfer files direct to all devices wirelessly, nor does it have memory expansion.

128gb should be enough. Anything more than that and you should be using a computer. Wireless transfer exists for quite some time now.

iPad brought "nothing so significally revolutionary" ? Oh no, absolutelly, they brought a retina display in there, an ultra light formfactor with the iPad Air, huge jumps in performance and some really long battery life as well. Not even mentioning they created the entire modern tablet industry.

The Ipad is nothing special, just a regular tablet! I still can't believe that People are buying devices without sdcard support! Just stupid if you see how much Apple is making on 16GB ram! The best tablet out there is the Surface Pro 3 no other comes near it!

Everything does change, except the iPad itself.
