Evernote 8.0 released on iOS with new features and performance improvements

Evernote is trying to win back many of the customers it lost in the last few years. A new version of the note-taking application has been released in the App Store and it's now available for download on iOS devices.

The most important change that Evernote 8.0 brings is improved performance, as users have faster ways to find notes at their disposal. Also, more customization options are now available to Evernote users. The new iOS app has been designed and engineered with the users feature requests in mind.

Evernote 8.0 features better overall navigation structure, which will allow users to get to their notes much faster. The home screen has been completely removed, so users can access their notes immediately.

But the first noticeable thing is the new design, as Evernote is should now be easier to navigate and more pleasant to the eye at the same time. On top of that, Evernote 8.0 includes two new search features.

In order to take notes, you can simply tap the green “plus” sign button to start creating a new text note. Also, users can long press this button and slide their finger to record audio, capture images, as well as set up notifications.

Among the new customization options mentioned by developers, it's worth mentioning the option to use different colors and sizes to create headers and subheaders. Several pre-defined text colors and font sizes are available to choose from.
