Did HTC's smartwatch make a cameo appearance in this company video?
The other day, we passed along an image of what HTC's smartwatch allegedly looks like. The picture came from serial leaker evleaks, and while the hardware was said to be a faithful reproduction, the Sense-like UI was fabricated. The watch supports Android Wear like the LG G Watch, and the Motorola Moto 360.

The HTC smartwatch will apparently feature the rectangular face that has been the shape of choice for the first generation of smartwatches. It is thanks to that shape, that we can see the HTC watch making a cameo appearance in a company video, which you can check out below. The promotional clip was released on July 9th by HTC, and talks about how HTC puts so much love into the design of its devices. "If it's not essential, we leave it out," says an HTC employee.

While you're watching the video, freeze it at the 35 second mark. On a desk, you will see a pair of timepieces, with the one on the right looking very much like HTC's unannounced wearable.
