VRS Design is a case and accessory maker with a line of really smart phone cases, ranging from slim and discreet to bulky and uber-protective. The company has a history of being ready for new handset announcements with cases fresh out of the production line and up for shipping. Naturally, with a hot upcoming handset like the Galaxy S8 and its Plus counterpart, VRS Design is, again, prepared to protect your expensive new purchase from day one.

So, the company has outed a dozen of case models for various needs and tastes — from slim to stylish, to credit card holders, to armored. Here's a closer look at all of them:

Slim Cases

In this category, we have two models — the Single Fit and the Crystal Mixx. Single Fit is the simplest case here — a solid piece of TPU, molded to cover the phone snug and keep its corners safe if a bump should occur. A lip around the camera keeps the lens safe, too.

The Crystal Mixx series has a completely transparent back that showcases the beautiful, shiny phone underneath, and a reinforced TPU frame to keep its corners safe.

Leather Cases

VRS Design loves its stylish cases and the leather-clad models are always a part of its lineup. In this category, we have three models, starting from the minimalistic, but good-looking Simpli Mod and going up to the gorgeous, wallet-like Diary.

So, the Simpli Mod has a faux leather back with an accented stitch running down its center, and a plastic frame to protect the phone. There are openings for all the buttons, so you get to feel your phone's hardware. The Layered Dandy model is a wallet-type case made with faux leather, wrapped around a plastic phone holder. Lastly, the Genuine Leather Diary series is also a wallet, but it's made of genuine leather — it's soft, classy, and clean in appearance. We also have a spin-off, called the Genuine Leather Croc Diary, with a patterned finish on top. All wallet cases have three card slots and a cash pocket in the flap.

Card Storage

A play on the wallet concept, card-holding cases are bulky protectors, which make use of their space by letting you store cards (credit card size) in a trunk-like compartment. VRS Design has two such models.

The Damda Folder and Damda Glide share the same basics — a TPU body that also has a polycarbonate shell over its back. The latter has a flap, which opens to reveal a compartment that can hold 2 (Glide series) or 4 (Folder series) cards.

Protective Cases

Time to go into the highly-protective models. VRS Design is ready to defend your Galaxy S8 or S8+ from unfortunate drops with 4 different variants to choose from. The High Pro Shield series has a TPU back with a polycarbonate bumper, which can come in one of 3 colors. The Crystal Bumper is much the same, only its back is fully transparent. Next is the Thor series, which is thicker, due to being a mix between a TPU body and a polycarbonate shell that covers its entire back. Lastly, we have the extra-sturdy Terra Guard, with reinforced corners and military looks. The last one is only available for the regular Galaxy S8, though.
