Deal: get the gargantuan Samsung Galaxy View tablet at 36% off
If you're looking for a tablet that can double as a TV (or vice-versa), check out Best Buy's offer on the Samsung Galaxy View.

The Galaxy View is usually priced at $549. Best Buy, however, currently has the XXL tablet on sale at a price of $349.99. That's a discount of $200 or 36% compared to the standard price of the device.

The main highlight of the Samsung Galaxy View is a gargantuan 18.4-inch display that runs at a resolution of 1080 by 1920. Naturally, a tablet this size goes all-in on the multimedia experience but has only limited mobility. Just make sure that you're fully aware of this trade-off before committing to a purchase.

The remainder of the hardware doesn't impress even compared to high-end Android tablets. This includes an Exynos 7580 Octa chipset with an octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and a Mali-T720MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable internal storage, and a 5700mAh battery.

I think this should have been the launch price, it would have been way more reasonable. The specs are at the lower end of the spectrum, while because it has a humongous display, they could charge and extra 100-150USD, which 350-400USD would have been the perfect price

18.4 Inches...? Ah! Seems like a Phablet of 'The Future', eh? I mean, 5.7" is the new 4"...! BTW, in all honesty when you've such an enormous screen, why not opt for a fully fledged desktop OS, eh? Why run Android when you can run the excellent Windows 10 with all the softwares (as opposed to "Apps") and games from CounterStrike to Half Life to Hitman: Blood Money...!!? No wonder Samsung is giving huge discount on this MEGA TABLET... Tablets running on Mobile OS are nothing but dying (Including iPads...!) because of the rise of Surface Pros and the likes which offer all the functionality of a tablet AND desktop in one small compact package... And you can blame these "Hybrids" for the recent poor sales of Laptops too...! Anyhow, I know what I'd rather have...! G'Day!

Crazy GIANT handle no portrait mode very limited use. Could have been great but it's a failure.
