Deal: Sony Xperia XA Ultra with 64GB microSD card priced at 23% off on Amazon
A fresh deal on Amazon for the Sony Xperia XA Ultra makes the handset way more interesting than it was back in July when it officially landed in the US.

Amazon is currently selling the Xperia XA Ultra at $298.48, down from the handset's usual price of $369.99. Furthermore, the retailer is also throwing in a 64GB Sony Class 10 microSD card with each purchase. The total savings are ones of $48.50, or a 23% discount compared to the list price.

The offer is good for both the white and the black versions of the phone and also includes free shipping in the US. Note that the Xperia XA Ultra comes with support for all of the four major carriers in the United States.

Amazon did not announce when this deal expires, meaning that you might want to hurry if you're tempted by Sony's gargantuan mid-ranger at this price.

Just in case you need a refresher, the main highlights of the Sony Xperia XA Ultra include a 6-inch display running a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels, a mid-range MediaTek Helio P10 chipset with 3GB of RAM, a 21.5MP primary camera, a 16MP secondary shooter, and a 2700mAh battery.

After extensively testing the XA Ultra, we found that this is actually one of the best-positioned Sony smartphones at the moment. The things we loved about the phone are the solid build, the bright display, the quality of the main camera, and the overall performance. The downsides are the unnaturally cold screen colors, the disappointing selfie camera, as well as the average battery life. Head on over to our full Sony Xperia XA Ultra review for a much closer look at Sony's beastly smartphone.

What do you guys make of this Amazon deal? Is the Xperia XA Ultra worth its salt at under $300 with a free 64GB microSD card?
