Looking for a great phablet that won't do too much damage to your budget? If that's the case, you might want to check out Daily Steals' latest offer for the Google Nexus 6. You can currently grab the 32GB version of the device in blue for $220 or nearly a third off compared to the handset's price on Amazon.

Yes, the Nexus 6 was released in late 2014 which means that its third birthday is not too far away, but it's far from venerable. Some of its most notable specs include a 5.96" AMOLED screen with a 1440x2560 resolution, the quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset ticking at 2.7 GHz, 3GB RAM, a 13MP main camera with OIS and 4K video recording, and a 3,220 mAh battery.

Furthermore, the handset is doing quite well on the update side - after patching, it should run Android Nougat 7.1.1 and is guaranteed to receive the latest security updates until October 2017. Not too shabby for a $220 phone.

Daily Steals is selling unlocked units intended for the US, which means that they are compatible with both CDMA and GSM carriers. There's also a 90-day warranty on board.

I got my Nexus 6 new in '14, still running like a champ! Pure Nexus ROM 7.1.2 going strong!

I still use it today. It runs everything I need it to run. Never had a single issue, almost 3 years old and still going strong. I bought this to replace my Nexus 7 tablet. For those needing the latest $1k phone, when you lose it, this would be a great backup phone.

Same here. On a Pixel XL, and I really miss that screen size, wireless charging, and front facing stereo speakers.

Agreed! I've had 11 smartphones (if I am counting right) and it's the best by far. In fact, replying on mine right now. Running PureNexus ROM on the 64GB model.

Loved it too. I upgraded due to the cameras though.
