The gang in Redmond has promised to update Cortana twice a month, and has already added the predictive engine that used algorithms to correctly forecast the winning team in 93% of the Knockout round games for the World Cup.
Now, Cortana has been updated to bring you information about the stock market. No, don't expect the virtual personal assistant to give you winning stock picks. What you will receive are the latest prices for stocks you are tracking, along with a simple chart of each stock's price. The data comes from Morningstar.
Cortana's competitors also offer information from the world of high finance, with Google Now and Siri providing similar information and charts.
