Colorful LG G2 back covers are cases, not the device

Colorful LG G2 back covers are cases, not the device
Whoops. Yeah, turns out we probably got a bit too excited this morning when we saw pics that showed the LG G2 in various colors. The choice of colors in a mobile device is something that we enjoy, and we'd like to see more choice with more devices, but we jumped the gun on this one because it turns out the pics show cases not the device backplate.

Looking at the images, a little closer, it becomes clear that they show cases on the G2 rather than the actual device itself in various colors. We've seen leaked pics of the LG G2 before, and you can see in those pics that the real backplate of the device is flush, and there is no ridge on the front. In the multi-color pics, it is pretty clear that they are cases.

Sorry if we got your hopes up, we just got a bit excited.

I pretty thought as much,on the blue phone picture you can clearly see that there is a black coloured phone under the blue case around by the camera flash!
