Casing of the iPhone 4 seen yet again & sheds more truth in its reality
With each passing day, we're getting closer and closer to WWDC 2010 where it's speculated for Apple to officially unveil the long awaited next generation iPhone – which we've seen almost from head to toe for the past few weeks now. In adding more truth to the reality of the smartphone, there is another video courtesy of SmartPhone Medic where they show off the casing of the next iPhone which clearly resembles the prototype we've been seeing of late. From the looks of it, this is probably going to be the final design that we'll all shortly be seeing this June – love or hate it, this is pretty much what it'll end up looking like in the end. The next few weeks will surely be interesting as things begin to heat up more and more as we get closer to its eventual unveiling.

Meh... I hope Apple make the screen a little bit bigger, at least 4". :)

If the screen is the 3.7" or larger that would be great, however accuracy is more important than a 4" screen. I hope they make it a little more accurate than the current Iphone, and not to mention for all US carriers not just lame ATT

Maybe you haven't used other touchscreen phones but... s.html That's a test showing the iPhone is the most accurate of all the ones compared in this review. They've also done subsequent reviews with more current models showing the same results.

i would laugh if this iphone 4 reveal fiasco was all an elaborate plan made up by apple and on the reveal day they come up with something totally different.. like a round iphone

I thought of the same thing too...could be just a "lead" by apple to get everyone to focus on this fake iphone 4, but in reality it's something completely different and looks like the HTC HD2 but more...Mac-ness

See, I think that's what would give me the most lulz. If Apple set this up because they know all the bloggers would make a fuss of it. Hell, Gizmodo paid $15,000 for it. What if it turns out to be all for nothing. Plus, it would make the actual iPhone release an even bigger event than before because what we'd expect wouldn't be what we got. And I'm sorry...I am a consumer with an iPhone 3GS and I don't set that thing down for anything because of how much the phone costs. If I was an engineer with a prototype phone from a company that is famous for keeping a very tight hold on new products, there would be 0 chance of that thing leaving my sight. Let alone leaving it at a bar.

@ Jeff I am sure it was $5000 not $15000. Also what did they lose? The had the internet buzzing and anoying everyone about the iphone.... again. It was clear that the phone was lost and belonged to apple. If they did it as a cruel joke to the media then it did not work. All it did was hurt the public. You have to notice how Apple is always in the news with law suits and retoric about nokia and adobe. All these companies want is free screen time. Nothing more.

Your post is a hard to read pile of crap. He stated that he wanted a more accurate display. How is this something to rage about in a comments section? He did not say thing about the current display as it relates to other phones. Also why would someone want to be forced into only one provider Because he wants choices he has to be delt a blow form you, a person of little reading comprehension, because you like AT&T? Also caps lock does not help your cause. I have to say you must live in the worst parts of L.A.

I guess it could be taken in that context. Though I would have expected it to come across a little differently. I still think that my comments are correct even if the reader finds what I say hypocritical.

From what I have seen, the new iPhone will be just slightly longer. So don't expect a huge difference as they limit the software to be useable by the older iPhones.
