Carphone Warehouse is now selling the SIM-free LG Optimus 3D for £500
Arriving a couple days earlier than expected, Carphone Warehouse is now selling the SIM-free version of the LG Optimus 3D, which was available in pre-order form previously.

Even though the GSM version of the HTC EVO 3D has been announced and planning to launch this month, the LG Optimus 3D is now available for pickup at £500 ($805) through the popular retailer. However, you can also pick it up for free if you decide to pick up service through O2, Orange, T-Mobile, or Vodafone with monthly plans starting at £35($56). Still, this SIM-free model might appeal to people outside Europe seeing that you can essentially pop in any SIM and get it connected.

Needless to say, some US consumers might be interested in importing this one seeing that there is no concrete release date for AT&T’s version with the LG Thrill 4G.
