BlackBerry Storm2 officially appears on RIM's site
This article has been updated.

Alright, the RIM BlackBerry Storm2 has finally penetrated into official space, appearing on the manufacturer’s website, along with a list of specifications and a promo video. Cool! We already know quite a lot about that RIM smartphone, with the most interesting difference, as compared to the original Storm, being the new touch-sensitive display, which now utilizes Piezo technology. Also, Wi-Fi is on board in order to enhance your internet experience. Sadly, we still do not know when the smartphone is coming out and at what price, but hope that RIM and Verizon will soon inform us, now that everything is official. Meanwhile, you can watch that video and read our preview of the Storm2, just to get a head start before the phone’s been released.

*UPDATE*: It seems Vodafone's UK site has already made the Storm2 available for pre-order. Even more, they say it is expected to ship on October 26, which is actually pretty close to the latest rumors we've heard of.

I'll be very surprised if people will be waiting in line for this phone like they were last year at my store.

eh even though they announced it i know verizon will most likely lag it like always and they will prolly release dis phone like next year or something.. but who cares im still sticking with verizon cause i had at&T before i had a blackberry bold . and at&T sucks sooo much .. it was kinda embarrassing that my friends with t-mobile had better reception n call quality...

Double the RAM and double the onboard memory = faster Better touch screen = more precision These are the 2 major flaws of Storm1 so we can expect big improvements
