Asus delays Android Lollipop updates for the 2014 ZenFone series, PadFone S, and PadFone Infinity 2
While Asus is currently focusing on promoting the ZenFone 2 series, it didn't forget about last year's ZenFone line-up, which includes the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6. The company is working to bring Android Lollipop to all three handsets, but it "found some issues" that are delaying the update rollout (which was supposed to arrive in April, and then in mid-May).

Right now, Asus says that the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6 (pictured below) will be updated "as soon as possible", but it can't provide a specific time frame for this.

Other two Asus devices that will eventually get Android Lollipop are the PadFone S and the latest PadFone Infinity, aka PadFone Infinity 2. Once again, Asus can't say exactly when these will get Lollipop, noting that the update plan for the Infinity 2 had to be postponed "due to limitation of the processor." In the meantime, the PadFone Infinity 2 should receive some updates based on Android KitKat.

Do you have any of the Asus devices mentioned above?
