Apple releases watchOS 4 beta 5 for Apple Watch

Apple has just released watchOS 4 beta 5 for developers and the beta is available for testing on all Apple Watch models.

The major new features of watchOS 4 include:

  • Cool new watch faces: one with personalized Siri information and others with animated Toy Story characters
  • Improved Music and Workout layouts
  • Support for Apple News via a complication
  • Support for GymKit
  • Person-to-person payments
  • Apple Pay Cash

To install watch OS 4 beta 5 on your Apple Watch, you need to be registered as a developer with Apple, and then you can go into the Apple Watch app on your phone, tap on Settings > Software update to get it rolling. Other pre-requisited to update to this latest beta is to have your Watch charged to at least 50% and to have it placed on a charger, and within range with a paired iPhone. Your phone must be running iOS 11 beta 5 to download watchOS 4 beta 5.

Hey it's Mr Important again!!! You really need to come up with a better way of depending apple dude - we have Android phones that cost nearly as much as an iPhone. Was the inflated price your only reason for buying an apple product?

Don't think that your statement is correct on this one. I admit that I am an apple fan but this one really looks like it's targeting kids now. While I'm at it, I read somewhere the other day that they were praising the fact that apple was going to make the Apple Watch a standalone device where you do not need your iPhone. Kind of funny that Samsung can say "been there, done that" with that one.
