The golden iPhone XS and its 6.5" version strut in concept promo video, looking luscious

After the alleged official press renders of the 2018 iPhone XS and its larger, 6.5" sibling, leaked out last week, it was a matter of time before we see a concept video of their promo ad, made in Apple's typical style.

Rendered in scale, the two new iPhones are flaunting the freshly-squeezed gold color, which we'd wager to guess will be meant for Asian customers, though we wouldn't mind if we made it on this side of the pond as well, it looks luscious.

The larger iPhone XS model, which may or may not carry the usual Plus naming convention, is expected to be with the largest display on an iPhone ever, at 6.46 inches, which would probably be rounded up to 6.5" in marketing materials. With great screen real estate come great responsibilities, and Apple is expected to throw at this one also a larger battery, more souped-up camera, and even a dual SIM version

In addition, these two OLED models you see above, are expected to launch before the affordable LCD iPhone model, albeit the trio will be announced at the September 12 event together.

"With great screen real estate come great responsibilities, and Apple is expected to throw at this one also a larger battery..." The battery capacity doesn't matter one tiny bit. I'm sure The iPhone 9 Plus is going to top PhoneArena's battery life chart regardless of its enormous IPS display and rumored microscopic sub 3,000mAh battery. Oh well, G'Day!

Battery life will not be a problem for Apple as it hasn't been for ages now just because iOS is more optimized and more efficient than any Android phone out there. The battery capacity alone won't decide the actual battery life here. Again.........it's all about Quality VS Quantity.....lol

According to Notebookcheck's power consumption chart: S8 Plus: Off / Standby: 0.02 / 0.13 Watt Idle: 0.68 / 1.13 / 1.16 Watt Load: 4.69 / 5.24 Watt iPhone 8 Plus: Off / Standby: 0.07 / 0.14 Watt Idle: 0.72 / 2.45 / 2.52 Watt Load: 3.84 / 9.02 Watt So... What quality and what quantity are you talking about here, my dear?

Oh man, great data. Apple lovers always come with their subjectve terms "optimized", "smooth", "secure" which are only a perception based on a once true, but now long gone reality.

But it is a problem. The iPhone has a tiny battery considering it size. More optimized just means, less features to drain the battery. You're lucky to even get 6 hours of nonstop ussge. There are people with mophie cases on their iPhone ro make them last a full day. Even though my phone does car more, I still get 1.5 days on a ai gle chatge.

6.5" display, still wouldn't come with even 4000mAh battery capacity.

Oh I'm sure there'll be an accessory battery case for extra $99.99. Pay to play, eh?

I’m getting one iphone X plus with the highest storage option. Sure it will be hot cakes again and more people will stay up late during pre order lunch and also many people will line up outside the cozy apple store then many butthurt Samdung and android users can’t accept the fact that apple is the best for keeping their costumers more and more. Apple community is growing which is proportional to their quarterly best revenue ever.
