Apple hints at new screen sizes and resolutions for the Apple iPhone 6 and the next Apple iPads
Nestled away inside the Apple Developer Portal, is the Xcode 6 Beta that is designed to help developers. The program lets them visualize their work on a simulated Apple iPhone and Apple iPad screen. In the past, developers were limited to using a fixed resolution based on current iOS offerings. But with the release of the Xcode 6 Beta at WWDC on Monday, something new has been spotted.

Developers now have the option to select a resizable Apple iPhone screen, or a resizable Apple iPad screen. It all suggests something that has been obvious for month; Apple is going to raise the screen-size of the Apple iPhone 6.

The talk around the water cooler is that in September, Apple will release a 4.7 inch version of the Apple iPhone 6. A 5.5 inch Apple iPhone phablet will be unveiled later this year, or some time in 2015. We should see a more powerful and faster A8 processor, improvements to the rear camera, and a larger capacity battery. The next iterations of the 9.7 inch and 7.9 inch Apple iPad models, should both include the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and an A8 processor.
