Apple WWDC 2016 keynote liveblog (iOS 10, WatchOS 2 and more)

9comments

Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC, pronounced as 'dub dub dc' by all the cool kids) kicks off with a keynote featuring Apple's superstar executive team on Monday, June 13th at 1PM ET / 10AM PT.

WWDC 2016 will take place at a much larger venue than the usual Moscone West site, as this year Apple has opted to host it at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

What can we expect? Here are the main topics of discussion and the ones that are not likely to happen:

  • New iOS 10 to be unveiled
  • But no new iOS devices (no iPhones or iPads) expected
  • WatchOS 2 with more independance to be unveiled
  • But no new Apple Watch hardware
  • New Siri functionality
  • New Apple Music features
Of course, this being Apple, you can always expect a surprise, or two. That's why we recommend you to tune in our live blog to see what happens.
