Apple AirPods now ship in 4 weeks; get them before Xmas from eBay for as much as $2K
After a roughly two month delay, the Bluetooth powered, wireless in-ear Apple AirPods were available for pre-orders starting earlier today. Priced at $159.99, the lack of a 3.5mm earphone jack on the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus means that Apple has a huge ready-made audience that are potential buyers of the device. The AirPods are powered by Apple's W1 chip and can last for five hours on a single charge. The box can be used as a wireless charger adding another 24-hours of power.

Demand for the AirPods was pretty much as expected, which is to say that the product is on back order after originally showing a December 21st shipping date. On Apple's website, the AirPods will now ship in four weeks. If you missed the opportunity to have a pair of AirPods in your possession by Christmas, all is not lost as long as you don't mind shelling out big bucks for the product on eBay.

Prices for the AirPods on eBay promising delivery before December 25th, range from $349 to as high as $2,000. Now, we know that some of you out there just have to have the latest Apple product. But if you wait a couple of weeks for Christmas to be over, the inflated prices on eBay are sure to come back down to earth. And if it isn't important that the neighbors see that you are first on the block with the AirPods in your ears, you can order now, save money, and wait the 4 weeks.

My wired apple EarPods don't fall out unless the damn cord snags (good riddance) - why would theses?

Because it's Apple and it's cool to bash the leading tech company.

If you're woman or gay, you can buy this. I'll not buy earring to look stupid. Not bashing Apple. If they was made by Samsung or anyone else I'll still claim the same. No way to wear such s**t looking piece of tech.

Ignorance is truly man's downfall.... "If you're woman or gay, you can buy this" Remember folks....your e-peen can only get so erect before "complications" arise. Please see your doctor if you experience an of the following symptoms: A) Trying to sound like an Edgelord, only to come across as slightly stupid. B) Wagering other people agree with said stupid statements and listen to Three Days Grace albums while eating Chilli's just as you do. C) Start to care more about how you look while listening to audio.....not yet realizing no one else gives two f**ks about what earphones you're using because they have lives. If any of these should get worst after the a specialist immediately.

I lost a few chromosomes reading this article.

What does that even mean? Do you know what chromosomes are and their structure?

maybe he only has 1 chromosome left... perhaps he thinks that loosing DNA would make him more stupid or primitive (not entirely incorrect)

Chromosomes determine if you're a male or female. They get structured when you're still a fetus and stay that way til you die. There's nothing you can do to loose them, gain them, or change them. You can loose brain cells (per se). But biologically speaking you don't loose them from reading anything, not even techies posts.

These are probably just a handful released to quell the mob a bit because the W1 chip isn't working. Likely these units are fault or barely functional and Apple is hoping reports of a few issues will be swept under the rug by their media mouthpieces. The beats headphones have been delayed up to three months because Apple can't deliver on the W1 chip promises (something iPhonearena and other apple shills have been praising without ever having seen one). So any idiot spending 2k in these will likely regret it when he's inevitably told he's wearing it wrong.

Agree with you. Phonearena will behave like these airpods packs as much innovation and tech as f35 fighter jet.

And look back through the ended auctions and none have sold for that. A few of the auction say seller suspended. Guessing fake auctions.

What is even funnier is the fact that in order to get these $2K AirPods you'll have to pay $49 for shipping. For f**k's sake a person spending 2K cant have free shipping!!!???
