LG is trying to replicate the success of the Galaxy Note with its 5" Vu handset that is expanding into Europe and the US soon, and Lenovo is now jumping on the phablet bandwagon with its K860 LePhone.
The monster of a device features a 5" display with 1280x720 pixels of resolution with thankfully onscreen buttons only, as all gigantic phones should be, since it is running Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
There is some serious power under the hood, too, with Samsung's Exynos 4412 quad-core processor to supply it, the same as in the international version of the Galaxy S III. The rest is up there with the times - 8MP camera on the back plus a 2MP front snapper, 1GB of RAM and 2, 250mAh battery to keep things going.
We don't know yet whether Lenovo plans to release the handset worldwide, as it is official only in China for now, but the company confirmed its dedication to become top player in smartphones at the last quarterly results conference call, so there is a possibility.
