All the flagship smartphones and tablets of H1 2015 in one place
Now that we've reached the scorching month of July and lived to write about it, the time has come to look back and say goodbye to the last six months of important smartphone and tablet releases that we experienced together.

Not everyone got what they expected out of this year's crop of flagship mobile devices, but if we're to take a look from a broad perspective, things aren't bad at all! We've got a mostly excellent line-up of smartphones, with the majority of them being considerably better than their predecessors from last year's. We've also got a lone tablet, the Xperia Z4 Tablet Compact, standing the somewhat desolate as of late ground of Android tablets.

All in all, it's been a fine six months for mobile enthusiasts, folks! Thanks for riding along with us! Enjoy this trip down memory lane, and do tell us - which ones of you upgraded to this year's flagships? Brag away in the comments below!

Because of personal preference. Maybe it suits their needs best, maybe they like the way iOS works, or maybe they simply prefer Apple's aesthetics. Some buy it because of the air of exclusivity it has in their eyes, and others buy it because all of their friends and family already have an iPhone. Some simply like Apple's ecosystem better than Microsoft or Google's. Point being, there are a bunch of different reasons. But it all comes back to the same exact reason that you like LG phones. Personal preference. We all have it.

And besides that, Price is all relative to who you're asking. What is expensive to you may not be a big deal for me. Or vice versa.

Help me phonearena, Coming from an S2, I buy an S6 32GB for US$600 or save a few bucks and get an M8 16GB for about $470? A Sony Z2 also sounds interesting! I got some bad reviews about LG G3 battery life. All new phones. Please help me as I'm a faithful reader of the site! My main usage are Web Browsing, some pics, some pdf reading and watching some series! Will be very grateful if anyone could help!

If camera isn't important, Go for M8. If it is go for Z2/S6. Though I toughly recommend the Z2.

Wow, look at the huge amount of choice of operating systems you get with these flashship smartphones. So much for consumers having any sort of meaningful choice when it comes to buying a smartphone. This is why the smartphone market is so incredibly boring at the minute; Android slab after Android slab. It's not even a good operating system, it's just cheap for these manufacturer to use so they can vainly attempt to turn a penny. I wish more companies would follow in Apple's leading footsteps.

Choice has been part of our daily lives. Why do you judge? You make choices by ordering your food, choosing Nike over Adidas, and if you haven't realize you made a choice by choosing iOS. It's actually the most exciting part in buying a phone because you can compare your phone to others and show how unique it is. Having no choice is rather more boring. And following Apple's footstep? Go home, sheep.
