Al Jazeera English launches Windows Phone app
We always love to see solid first party apps coming to Windows Phone, and this week has had the launch of a very nice first party app from one of the  more respected news sources around. Al Jazeera English has launched an official news app for Windows Phone devices. The app first hit the Windows Phone Store about a week ago.

It's a pretty solid app, but there are a couple odd things to it. The app offers the content you'd expect like news, features, spotlight, opinion and blogs from Al Jazeera English, as well as info and videos for different Al Jazeera programs. The app offers breaking news alerts, photo galleries, search articles, and preload articles for faster viewing. And, aside from all the content consumption options, you can also submit photos to Al Jazeera through the app.

It's a pretty solid app, but it doesn't offer fast resume, or all the tile sizes you may want. Al Jazeera English is compatible with all Windows Phone devices, and it's available for free in the Windows Phone Store.
