After announcing the iPhone SE, Apple ditched the iPhone 5s from its website (but you can still buy it)
Yesterday, Apple announced its first new 4-inch iPhone in over 2 years: the iPhone SE. While it looks exactly like the iPhone 5s from 2013, the iPhone SE is much more than that, as it packs some powerful features borrowed from the iPhone 6s series - including Apple's A9 processor, and a 12 MP rear camera with 4K video recording. Compared to the 5s, the iPhone SE also offers the benefits of Apple Pay, longer battery life, and a new color option (rose gold).

While the iPhone SE won't be released before March 31 (with pre-orders starting on March 24), Apple already ditched the iPhone 5s from its website, obviously replacing it with the newer handset - which, by the way, will be sold for $399 (16 GB model) and $499 (64 GB model).

Although Apple is no longer directly selling the iPhone 5s, the device can still be bought at retailers like Best Buy and Amazon, or via all major US carriers. Of course, we don't really recommend anyone to buy an iPhone 5s at this time, since the superior iPhone SE is hitting shelves next week. But we just wanted you to know that purchasing it is still possible - at least until the iPhone SE becomes available.
