AT&T to sell Nokia Lumia 520 for $49.99 off contract

The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.

AT&T will be offering the Nokia Lumia 520 for the doorbuster price of just $50 off contract from November 28th to December 2nd. That is the absolute lowest price we’ve seen for the Lumia 520, usually sold for $99.99 with AT&T’s pre-paid GoPhone. The Lumia 520 is a 4-inch smartphone running on the latest Windows Phone 8 platform and featuring a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip.

The deal has not yet started, but we expect this to happen in the next few hours and it's clearly an offer that will not last. The $50 Lumia 520 will be available on AT&T’s website and in select brick and mortar stores. The Microsoft store matches AT&T's price and is also selling the Lumia 520 for $50 for a limited time.

Moreover, the Lumia 520 goes for a 4G phone by AT&T’s standards as it supports downlink speeds of up to 21.1Mbps (this is not a 4G LTE device, though). The Lumia 520 also has a very decent 5-megapixel camera and sports a 1430mAh battery.

The U.S. price of the Lumia 520 is shockingly low considering that in other parts of the world you have to pay around $180, nearly double the price.
