AG Drive is Apple's free app of the week

Every week, Apple takes a paid iOS app and allows iOS users to install it for free. As you can tell from the title, the app is free for a week. This week's free app is AG Drive. This is a racing game which allows you to drive anti-gravity vehicles against opponents on spectacular looking tracks. The game normally costs $4.

AG Drive is highly decorated:

  • Apple Editors' Choice worldwide.
  • On Apple App Store's Best of 2015 list.
  • On Touch Arcade's Best iOS games of 2015 list.
  • Small Screen Game of the Year 2015 in Finland.
  • Nominated for a Nordic Game Award 2016 in the Best Fun for Everyone category.
  • Among Metacritic's top 25 best-reviewed iOS games of the year 2015 with a metascore of 87.

By the way, if you have an Android device, the game is available for your platform, too (not for free, though). Watch the video at the top of this story and if you want to download the game, click on the appropriate link below.

Slightly off topic, but here is the sugar-coating-free and fanboy-free explanation behind crappIe's removal of the headphone jack: TLDR: To make a MFi certified cable for iDevices, it's over $500 up front, crappIe doesn't get that from the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Do you feel better now about your Note 7 since you posted that? I do hope so.

Why the immense butthurt? And which Note 7 do you refer to? Still using my first Android device here; a OnePlus One.

Sorry cutie, but it's painfully obvious you're butthurt, since you went out of your way to comment and post a link about the iPhone 7's, on an article about a free iOS app. Ummm, I don't see the connection you are trying to make, but whatever. Anyhow enjoy your Note 7 oops I mean OnePlus One. And try not to let Apple hurt you too bad in the future.

Right, posting apple-related news on apple article is now considered as "butthurt" in the iDictionary...typical dingbat logic.

I always wanted that game, and remember that 3d touch support was and is the main reason I wanted to have it. But since it was paid, I couldn't. Perhaps this time I am lucky.
