5 best (non-major) music streaming services for Android and iOS
Doing a top 5 of music streaming services is a pretty easy thing to do. Just pick 5 names from the list of: Spotify, Pandora, Google Play Music, Rdio, MOG, Xbox Music, Rhapsody, and Sony Music Unlimited, and you're done. But, there are a lot more music streaming services out there, and many of them are pretty interesting, because rather than aiming to offer everything you could want, a lot aim to offer a specific way to get your music.

Of course, once you get into the lesser known music streaming apps, there are dozens and dozens of options to choose from. Really recommend 8tracks. Awesome music with playlists made by actual users, not like pandora.

I considered including Slacker, but since it is bundled with so many T-Mobile devices, that definitely seemed like a "major" option.

I use pandora a lot, but I also use torch music which is a more obscure service for video streaming. It's kind of like a better version of youtube.
