More Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 images show how thin the tablet is, reveal new features
It appears that Samsung will have little to no surprises for us next week, when it’s going to announce new tablets at its Galaxy Premiere 2014 event. Most likely, the tablets are the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4, both of which should offer AMOLED screens with 1,600 x 2,560 pixels. While we already saw press renders showing the two slates, the Tab S 10.5 today appeared in a new set of images that reveal more details about it.

The new images seem to be taken from an official promo video, and allow us to see that the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is one slender device, having a thinness of only 6.6mm (the Tab S 8.4 is supposed to be even thinner at 6.5mm). The slate has a Remote PC mode, and seemingly allows users to sync it with their smartphone for taking calls directly on the tablet.

As already reported, the back of the new Tab S series features the same dotted pattern seen on Samsung’s Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone. One of the images embedded below shows a close-up of the Tab S 10.5’s back (including its rear camera with LED flash).

Android 4.4 KitKat, fingerprint sensor, 3GB of RAM and an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor should be among the common features of the Tab S 10.5 and Tab S 8.4.

According to a timetable spotted yesterday, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Tab S 8.4 should be available to pre-order one day after their official announcement, on June 13. Both new devices should be properly launched on June 27.
