Xperia 1 III is really good, ... only issue is the price tag.
Phone owned for less than 3 months

Nice phone. Design and tall body is good for holding in one hand, it is much better than other mainstream 6.5 inch and wide body phones. The cameras are really great, my previous Samsung and HTC never could shoot something so sharp and natural colors... but it takes some training to use proper settings for better pictures. However the tele x4.4 lens is not so sharp. The battery is not an issue, even on 120HZ screen setting. I can easy use phone through tough working day and watch streams at evening, and even survive the half of next day. The charging is not the fastest: charges 40% in first 30mins, but the time to 100% is loooong. The screen brightness is not an issue, too. I put the phone side by side with Sammy s20 in the direct sun, and there is not difference, Sony is as bright as Samy. Overheat - that is an issue. Not often, but I can feel it time to time. (I put this phone in my overheat TOP, at 2.place, right after NOKIA 930, which where sometimes impossible to hold in hand due to heat. The No.#. in top where HTC U Ultra). The Xperia 1 III gets hot during 4K video shoot, or intensive photo shooting, or long streaming 4k on Youtube, and sometimes just without any reason (probably downloading some large update). However I never experience the phone slowing down or turn of due to heat. The fingerprint reader is just in right place, and works fast (5x faster and reliable, then Samsung S10 ur S20 under-screen sensors). Generally, I like it! Recommend it ! But the price tag is still really high.
