Yet another Huawei P8 image leaks, reminds us of the iPhone 6

With less than a month left until Huawei's April 15th event in London, where it is expected to unveil its flagship Huawei P8, related rumors and leaks have intensified. Just yesterday, an image focusing on the bottom area of a supposed P8 prototype showed us what appeared to be a metal frame with chamfered edges. And now, we've spotted another, quite similar photo of the P8's bottom side.

We won't lie, as soon as we saw it, we thought of the iPhone 5s/iPhone 6 due to the very similar layout – speaker grills, screws, and a charging port. Regardless, from the few split images we've come across so far, the Huawei P8 is shaping up to be another, hopefully reasonably thin, design piece worthy of the now eradicated Ascend P line.

Word on the street so far puts the specs of the P8 as follows – a 5.2-inch display with a flagship-standard 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, Huawei's most powerful, octa-core Kirin 930 processor and 3GB of RAM, a possible dual 13MP camera setup, and a 2,600 mAh battery. The device is expected to feature a unibody made out of ceramic, with the aforementioned metal frame hugging the profile and run on Huawei's proprietary Emotion UI, based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
