Windows Phone app myTube to receive update
Windows Phone app myTube is a third party substitute for YouTube. With Microsoft and Google unable to reach an agreement over a native YouTube app for the platform, a number of replacements dot the Windows Phone Store landscape. For 99 cents, you can install the app on your Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 powered phone.
Anything you can do in the app, such as read comments, change channels or browse videos, can be done with the video you are watching faded into the background. You can pin channels' uploads, favorites and playlists to your start screen. You can even have a double wide tile. And with myTube, if you have a poor connection, or want to wait for a Wi-Fi hook up, you can save videos for later viewing.

Some new features are coming to myTube. A future update will let you save videos to a microSD card, and users will be able to select a video, and download the audio only. The update is coming in just a few weeks, so get ready!
