Which of the US-available Galaxy S8 or S8+ colors did you get?

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are finally hitting the shelves today, and they turned out to be every bit as groundbreaking in terms of design as we glimpsed from the leaks that kept pouring in the last months. Available in five colors including Midnight Black, the all-new Orchid Gray, and also Coral Blue, Arctic Silver, and Maple Gold, the Galaxy S8's metal frames balance nicely with the glass chassis, "creating a seamless color transition that brings together art and technology to complete the phone’s concept of oneness," chirps Samsung.

We already asked you which of these colors would you pick if you had the chance, but since at launch in both the US and Europe, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be available in only three chassis hues - Orchid Gray, Midnight Black and Arctic Silver - we wanted to know which one of these three did you get during the preorder period, or when you ran to the carrier shop first thing this morning.

I really wanted that coral blue but the orchid grey is very nice to look at as well.

I can't vote for 2 colors. I have an S8 in Orchid Grey and the S8+ in Arctic Silver. I like that Samsung made the sides match the device color overall. The chrome finish on the Silver is awesome looking and was something I suggested in the past for earlier models with metal sides. Using mine with the plastic still on it because my case and 9H glass orders have been delayed for delivery...GRRRR...AMAZONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

I think this one is a better buy though. I had it in the cart but removed it, because I wanted to confirm it has 100% coverage of the screen including the curve. I couldn't tell for sure. One pictures shows it could be. https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Skinomi-Hardness-Ballistic-Tempered/dp/B06VVX5QLJ/ref=sr_1_20?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1492784827&sr=1-20&keywords=Samsung+Galaxy+S8+9h+glass I bought one from them before for the Note 7, and it didnt cover the sides. But Skinomi is the "best" brand I've ever used. Once applied, they have never come off. There is also a brand that come sin a gold box. But I couldn't find in black front https://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-Screen-Protector-Tempered-Samsung/dp/B06XT1X66Q/ref=sr_1_10?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1492785106&sr=1-10&keywords=Samsung+Galaxy+S8+9h+glass

Case suggestion - I purchased this case on Amazon and it was delivered last night. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XP4LGHJ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It is very thin. It adds about 1MM all the way around and it hugs the cuvers so close that even with it one, it feels almost exactly like the phone itself. Even though its plastic, it has a rubber like feel and has nice grip. Fingerprints wipe right off. Its has a "shiny" matte finish if that makes since. It looks matte black, but it has a "sheen". Now my phone has bezels...lol The con is, the lip at the top and bottom, doesn't stick out far enough to prevent the phone screen from cracking if you drop it.

i always buy a black phone because it is the only way to get a black front, but now all colors have a black front which is great i might go with the gray color it looks so amazing and unique the gold color looks bad in my opinion i liked last year gold more

Not getting either of these phones but I would pick the Coral Blue one by a mile, then maybe Gold or Silver but NEVER black or gray.

I want white back. If I go ahead and get the s8+ I guess I will go with the blue or silver. If I wait for the note 8 I am hoping they bring white back.

When I made my original comment on this post, picking coral blue, I hadn't seen these phones in the flesh yet. It was only when I did that I noticed that all of the available colours are black on the front bezels. I don't see the point in having a nice blue, gold or sliver back if these colours are not on the front bezels too. Black-only is unbearably dull to my eyes.
